Jackson Armory is a really cool gun shop. It's more like a museum.

Just be aware of the distances involved when travelling in/around Dallas and DFW.  Currently the entirety of DFW is under a massive single construction project where every single bit of pavement in this part of the country has been torn up.  They also randomly block and close freeways, interstates, and surface roads for weeks at a time.

The Dallas Museum o fArt is located on the northern part of downtown Dallas....oddly enough it is located in the Dallas Arts District.  There is also the rapidly growing and maturing Bishop Arts District southeast of downtown.  Across the street from DMA and over the Woodall Rodgers Freeway is Klyde Warren Park...nice place to have lunch and typically 6 or more food vendors will be parked along the park's south side.

The 6th Floor Museum is in the former Texas Book Suppository Building.  Yes, there is a 6th floor...but most of the museum is on other floors.  The Dallas World Aquarium is located nearby...I have never been there so I cannot say if they actually have fish.  Sadly the "open 24-hours venue" Sushi World, located in the same building as the aquarium, closed last year.

oh f**k...how did it get to be after 7pm?

I always recommend the Dallas World Aquarium as well.
