With Texas getting rid of the law against owning switchblades, I want to get one.
But there is still a Federal law against interstate transport, so either I need to buy one at a store, or find a Texas mail order company. Anyone know of any such Texas based companies for ordering? Thanks, |

Thanks, Really, it didn't stop me. It didn't stop the company I bought it from, or the post office from delivering it. Do you really think they care if you are purchasing a legal item? ETA: How do you think the local guys get them? |

I just visited House of Blades in Ft. Worth last week. Holy Shit! Incredible selection. You want Benchmade auto's? I saw over 100. You want Microtech OTF's? I saw 20. You want HK, Spyderco, etc, etc...they have hundreds of them. Chris Reeves, William Henry, et.al. Plus they have some cheap knock offs there as well if you just want a play toy or don't want to drop the cash on the expensive ones.
Plus the prices were good. Microtech Scarab's were $399! I just about bought one because it was the cheapest price I have ever saw on a Scarab. |

I have a Boker AK 47 and I really like it. It didn't break the bank, it was less than $50 Yep, the Boker Kalashnikovs 74's are excellent knives for the money. The full-sized versions are a tad thick for my taste, but they also make a great mini series. |

I got a Benchmade, but be aware, they advertise right on the website that you cannot return it for service unless you are LEO and have a letter from your chief LE agency stating that you are LEO. That part sucks. So they can ship the knife in interstate commerce in violation of the switchblade act but you can't

Or as others as mentioned BladeHQ.com is good to go. |
