Old Post

We decided on Leander.  I drove down last week and signed papers for a lease on a house.  I would just like to thank all of you for your input from the old post.  Yes, I know it will be hot but, I will not have to deal with -20 below temps.

Congratulations!  You'll love the Leander/Cedar Park area.  It's been pretty mild so far this year.  Maybe picked the "right" year to move to Austin.

Howdy! I was born in Austin and raised in Cedar Park, and I've been in LISD from PreK to graduation and I graduated back in 2011. It's a great school district, and what schools are your kids zoned for?

Rouse, Wiley, and Block House Creek.  They are nervous and excited.  They come from a small town with a much smaller population.

Howdy & welcome from a Leanderite.

See you at the local ranges.  We have some pretty good options.

I've only heard good things about Rouse and Wiley so they should do great. A good thing about the Cedar Park/Leander area is it doesn't seem as big as it actually is. And learn to love high school football, it's the national sport of Texas.
A new range just opened up in Cedar Park, they're doing a special for a little bit where kids under 18 shoot for free.

Hi. Cedar Park here, welcome to the neighborhood. Wife and I have lived here for 20 something years now and have seen incredible growth. Put two kiddoes through the Leander School system.

I can deal with the heat. I can't deal with how bad I hurt when it's freezing.

I'm over in Jonestown, just west of you out on the north shore of lake Travis (what's left of it).  There is lots of hiking, golf, and a few shooting ranges out this direction and maybe the lake will refill one of these days...
