[ARCHIVED THREAD] - CHL application status question

Does anyone recall how long it took your CHL status to change from "online application submitted" after you sent your documents in? I'm starting to worry that they never got my stuff. I sent it in on the 6th but it's still showing they haven't received it. I'm basically in Austin so I know it took no more than a day or two to get there.

Took about 2 business weeks for mine to show any status. Roughly 1 month door to door to get the license.

Sounds about normal what you're seeing, should see something online early next week I imagine.

My dad sent his in Second week of March, they cashed his check April 6th and his status still does not show up on the site.
I sent my app on Feb 25th, had my status changed to application received middle of March and received my new permit around the 18th of April.

My wife has hers in, seemed like it was weeks before status even recorded. Now has been stuck on "Background Check Review" for a couple weeks. They are basically overwhelmed with applications.

I am an instructor. Several recent students are reporting 4 week times for status updates. ymmv
