Get your team together or just come out and taste some of the best backyard BBQ Austin's Pitmasters have to offer. The Detour at the Domain is hosting this event for all BBQ lovers.

Teams usually consist of 2-3 ppl, but it must be a team. No solo When: Saturday June 15th, 2013 Where: Detour at the Domain 11101 Burnet Road., Austin, Texas 78758 Why: To benefit "Austin Pets Alive" - All proceeds go to charity...meaning 100% Competition Events Include: Pork Shoulder Spare Rib Beef Fajita Half Chicken Beans BBQ'ing will start at 7am, and end at 5pm. The event officially starts at 12pm and ends at 7pm. Contact [email protected] for entry information. ADDITONALLY: I was told there would be live, local music....including my sister.  So come support the local Austin music scene as well!!!

how is $5 for all you can eat bbq overpriced?
You think North Austin is overpriced?! You're joking right...the only thing overpriced is the domain, and that's only to live there. North Austin is very inexpensive compared to downtown, westlake, lakeway, south austin, etc. This is just an event to get out with the family, eat some cheap delicious bbq, compete with other locals for fun, maybe win a prize, and all proceeds go to charity. |
