Just stopped in to the Fort Worth Cheaper than Dirt since I was bored.
Thought I would post my report. Plenty of Gen 3 black PMags in stock: $90 Plenty of Troy Battle mags and Korean 30 round mags: $50 Plenty of Glock mags: $70 I found out who has been hitting up the local Walmarts. .223 AR ammo (the stuff Walmart carries) starting at $1.50 per round. CCI 22lr 375 round packs: $53 Also, looked through the catalog. None of the ammo or mags had prices. |

And James Yeager I think said CTD the stores were still good guys even though ctd online was crap and he's done with them...lol
Youtube him if you don't know him but yeah, I don't care how many AR's or Pmags/ammo is in stock if it's at ridiculous prices. I'll pay $1,250 for a brand new Colt 6920MP-B right now.. but not much longer... |

I would have thought they'd learned from their mistakes and wouldn't pull the same shit again. Fuckers didn't seem to learn much (collectively, I also wonder how many arfcommers held their personal lines in the sand to never buy from them again). I bought a few items from them early last year. After this latest round of bullshit, never again. There are too many other online sources that I can source and not have to pay sales tax either. Bastiches!!!! |

Quoted: I've kept away from them, even when they had (prepanic) a really good deal on an item in stock. I paid more elsewhere, and will continue to do so. I'm perfectly ok with capitalism, making a buck, supply and demand, etc... My distaste comes from 08. I bought ammo a few times, a few other items, from them pre-panic. Always depended on what "warehouse" it shipped from.. lol
Never again. I don't care how many times they post about "fair market" blah blah. $138 for ONE... USED.. GI mag? Hell, it may be more now, haven't looked since last week. Fuck those profiteers. They have no empathy with the customers they supposedly "serve". |

Quoted: Bullshit. You need to look harder. There are tons of shops in and around FTW. DSG is in FTW, just to name one BIG Respectable dealer. Right 2 Bear Ammo is around too, and they make a quality product and are reasonable as well. Keep looking around, you'll find local businesses to support. And post up what you want/need too, there are GREAT hometeam forum guys on here that will help out. What really sucks is there are basically no other local gun shops that carry AR parts around here (Fort Worth). Guess I'll have to keep buying online. ![]() |

It really depends on how hard you look and how hard you push it. If someone was looking for specific items (uppers, BCGs, barrels, small parts, build items, etc) I'd be glad to pass along what I know/have found and point you in the direction that I know has worked for me. Its times like these that we all need to help each other. We're in this together and I think we need to inform/educate/give a heads-up whenever we can. |
