I blame you for this. I also blame my good friend's father who was the first man to put a USP in my hands.

I've always been attracted to the P30. When I saw this one had Heinei sights on it,  and was in immaculate condition to boot, I decided to take the plunge. I had wanted to consolidate my sidearm to one universal platform that could be adapted for concealed carry as well as nightstand duty or anything else.

Hardly any barrel wear; sights are 2011 production; two mags and factory box and everything. Trigger pull is smooth and not heavy at all. Single action is very nice. Reset leaves something to be desired but nothing like a 1911 or Glock trigger reset. That being said, the ergonomics are vastly superior to Glock and that really sold me. I can't wait to shoot it. I don't think I'll need my G17 or G27 anymore. This will do the job of both, now.

Goodbye Glock, hello HK!

Are you new here???

Short answer, yes that is a round in backwards.

Back when the P2000 first came out the photographer HK hired had no clue how to load a mag and the end result was this:

And from then on it has become an inside joke.

I guess so.  Never read any HK literature because I thought they hated me!  That's the only HK gag I know

They do hate us, but self-loathing is in my nature so it all works out. The more I dry fire it, the more enamored I become with the stock trigger. It feels really good. The X300 barely fits on it, but it does so I plan for this thing to do nightstand duty and carry duty (sans light).
