Has anyone in DFW recently had insulation added to their house? I'm trying to get a guesstimate on cost. 1400 ft sq ft house.

I bought the bags of stuff at Home Depot and got to use their blower for free and did it myself. I think I added 12 bags to my attic, and 8 to my office. I wish I had blown in more.
You need one guy to load the blower though, 2 way radios or a 3rd guy for communication is necessary. Wear a dust mast too, otherwise you'll choke to death. |

I hired one of my guys from work to help me. I've got a couple who always hire out for odd jobs for cash money. They aren't cheap, like $20/ hour but they do good work and they really help out when I'm trying to knock out a project on a weekend. He's on vacation the next two weeks though.
I'm getting custody of my daughter full time now and my schedule is filling up, otherwise I'd load it for you. |
