| Without sinking a bunch of money into a budget project, I am looking for an experienced had swapping barrels on a Savage axis. I bought it in 223 and bought a 300 blackout barrel. I have the barrel nut tool and go/no go guages, but would feel better about doing this if somebody was watching who has swapped a barrel before. I don't think this a particularly hard job and I don't want to pay a gunsmith to do it, but I will pay in beer if anyone wants to lend an experienced hand. I'm thinking this is like a 1 hour process from what I have read. |
