Can anyone point me to a shop in Dallas/North Dallas that has an M&P Shield for me to handle?

No one in D/FW that I am aware of has any in stock at the time

JP-Ten Sports has some on order so I would contact him.

Bullet Trap in Plano has on to handle.

Go with JP to buy one if you can.

They had one to handle at Bullet Trap. They also said there were about 30 people on the waiting list haha. I liked it though. Not sure if I want something that small again (just sold my Kahr).

Check out a PPS. I decided on that over a Shield. I thoroughly enjoy it. Shoots quite well too.

Wifey carries it every day.

What did you like about it over a shield?

Lack of mechanical safety.
Adjustable back strap.
Availability.

We have the .40 model with around 400 rounds though it. No issues, shoots great.

My only "issue" if you will, was the trigger. It has been described as "gritty". I can attest to this, but it gets MUCH better after a solid range session.

As for which is the better gun? That is up to the shooter.
