Tiger Valley will be hosting a Range Officer class March 17-18, 2012. Class starts at 8:00am and will end at 5:00pm. We have a need for more RO's for up coming matches and would like to fill those voids with well trained indulviduals. Class will start out covering safety and move to controling a firing line and line protocals as well as the many issues with running a safe and efficient match. A general overview of rules normally encountered at matches and scoring procedures will be covered. We will not spend to much time directly on one format or competition type since there are so many. Most of our matches use an off shoot of international multi-gun, which is a simple set of rules which we will cover. The class will be covered into two sections, 4 hours of classroom and 12 hours of range time.
Each person will be required to set up and run a stage of either rifle, pistol or shotgun. All others in the class will be required to shoot the stage. Each member will critique the stage for function, interest and over all safety. Shooters should bring 200 rifle/pistol and 50 shotgun rounds as well as all gear necessary to shoot a 3-Gun match Cost is $300.00 |
