| I am located in MS, and came across an old email address of a ODA commander that was in my unit here in MS many years ago. I sent emails to the 2 addresses that I have, and they bounced back. Tried the # I had, no answer. Hopefully somebody will call back and I can find out for sure. Did a google search, and found out that he passed away back in Nov '07. He is buried in the Dallas-Ft Worth National Cemetary. If someone is close to that area, please IM or email me. I'd like to see if you could get a pic of his headstone if possible. I came across some notes from him with some pictures of his farm there in the Bedford, TX area. I know this is a weird request, but if you see that you could help in this I would be forever indebted to you. Email gets the quickest response. He and I were in SF together in Co A 2/20th SFG here at Cp Shelby, MS. I was AGR at the unit, and we were very close friends. I wish I would have stayed in contact with him over the years. He had cancer at 1 time but I thought he had beat it, but evidently not. Thanks in advance...Tom. |
