Ok I am finally ready to get my CHL.
Do I fill out all the info on the DPS site and send them a check for the $140 then register for a class and take the class? Or do I take the class and the instructor handles the paperwork? I honestly cannot remember the process and swear I have heard different processes from different folks. |

Texssonline dot com. Or Google Texas DPS and navigate to the CHL page. You can pay with a credit or debit card. You will print a receipt and be taken to the L1 website to schedule an appointment to have your electronic prints taken. DPS no longer takes winked prints. Take the class whenever you like and your instructor will advise you from that point. And if he doesn't, come back here. Ill help you |
