In March I was given to understand that CHL applications/renewals were down to around a one month or so turnaround, but my renewal has been "waiting on receipt of required materials" for a little better than two months now. Is this consistent with others' experience, or should I call and ask WTF?
If calling would do any good, is there a particular number to call or person to ask for? |

The status pages are notoriously not updated rgularly, though. Check the DPS site for the phone number. Other than that, how ya doing man? |

I sent my renewal on 4-16. They received it 4-18 Mine took about 3 weeks to start saying something other than "waiting on receipt." Mine changed to "pending manufacture" on 5-19 and "mailed" on 5-20. I hope to have it soon. Damn, that's not good news for me. |

I would call after waiting that long. I had mine in hand 21 days after I submitted in October, but from what ive heard that was the fastest many had ever seen.
DItto to them not updating the website. Mine was in my wallet while the site still read "waiting on materials". |

All you need to do now is go take the class and get your CHL 100. There are no more pics or prints for renewals. |

They never received the stuff I mailed them two months ago. Registered mail for me from now on. I faxed in my CHL-100 and DD-214 after the phone call. We'll see how long I dangle now. |
