Arrived in Vegas on Monday evening at Planet Hollywood.

Tuesday:
-Met with my pistol grips vendors and some possible new ones. Good day. Got lots of info on AR parts but nothing too groundbreaking.
-Mega monolithic upper and their new SS trigger are sweet.
-Christensen carbon fiber handguards are my new favs. Super light. Awesome rifles. New CF 1911 grips too.
-Colt 2011 pistol was up to $86k on Gunbroker. New Gold Cups are very nice with the new 100 year medallions.
-Keltec KSG shotty is the real deal. I want one bad. Handled it and it is designed to be one mean SOB for home defense. Will be in stores around September.
-Kimbers new 9mm is nice. Good trigger and felt good and light. Very concealable and thin.  Ambi features are very ergonomic.
-Talked to Nosler about a 100gr Accubond in 6.5mm for the Grendel shooters. They have been getting quite a few requests.
-RRA is looking at hard chrome on their NM trigger groups.
-Nothing new from Magpul. Not using SHOT to release products anymore.
-Got my SHOT Dillos from Larue. Good guys there.  Traded some caps with them and got to meet Mark finally.  Gov Perry was in on Wednesday, but I missed his autograph session.
-Dillon girls are HOT. Got the calendar.
-Met several CEOs, celebrities, and company owners, including Met Rob Leatham, Tom Knapp, and Jim Scoutin. Met the Hogue brothers and Tim Wegner of the famed Spyderco and Bladetech knife designs.
-VZ and Alumagrips have several new styles out.  Should be good sellers.

Wednesday:
-Mainly did some go backs for the most part. Met Ed Brown and Kendall Hemphill from TF&G.  Met Marshall from Primary Arms.
-Barnes said that the 20 cal TSX is discussed in their board room every year but there is not enough interest. They said that feedback on their blog is the way to get it moving. I plan to organize an effort to get the 20 cal shooters to all post on the blog. Would be one heck of a hog or doe killing bullet.
I thanked them for making the 100gr 6.5mm bullets for us Grendel shooters and they said it has been a huge success.
-I also got some info on a 338 Spectre AR from Teppo Jutsu.  Starline is making brass for it now.  Might be my next build.

Forgot to mention that dad and I had dinner on Wednesday with Bill Blodgett from Majesty Outdoors on VS and Mark Davis from Bigwater Adventures on the Outdoor Channel.  Super cool guys.  They have some exciting shows coming up.  I lost track of how many good stories we all told.

The show was great this year.
Last year it was like the walking dead.
