| Im going to be in Houston for a week in January and wanted to know what gun shops to check out. |

If you're going to be in the northwest side of Houston, I'll take a moment to throw my vote in for AMSS USA. It's not a big or fancy shop...it's actually sort of a shack and there is a driving range behind it and the business attached to it is the storefront for that golfing range ("Mulligans Golf and Guns" |

If you are new to town, or just visiting, you aren't looking to make friends, you want to see some equipment.
I recommend Tomball Pawn, and if you are up for a drive, Independence Firearms. Its a solid hour drive from Houston, but it is worth it, friendo. If you want to stay close, and make a purchase, keep it to Tomball, or the shop behind Cy Fair High School. It's small, but aggresively priced(owned by son of Tomball Pawn). Collectors Firearms is a museum, tons of cool stuff to look at, but you probably wont buy. |
| For class 3 stop by for Monday Night Guns at Houston Armory. They're open late from 5-8 on Mondays. You can meet several local members there too. |

How about any class 3 dealers? Thanks! Texas Tactical Gear is a Class III Dealer also. Good selection of YHM and SilencerCo suppressors and SBR's made by LMT, LWRV and Double Star if you budget is a little restricted like mine ;) |
