Can anyone recommend a place in Houston that they have used and would recommend for use to upgrade my 2008 F-250 4X4. I'm wanting computer, exhaust, and intake modifications. Also, I'd like to add a roll up bed cover.

If anyone has any place they have used in Houston to install and purchase, please let me know.

Might give David Lott @ Diesel Innovations a try, he worked on my 7.3 a while ago when I was visiting in Houston.

have the same truck.
If you are still under warranty, better talk to the dealership first.
'08's can detect if they have been altered, then reprogrammed to stock settings.
If you are looking for a bully dog, etc.....  better be safe than sorry.
especially with all the recalls the 08's have had.
any problems with yours?  exhaust sensor, injectors, etc?????

No problems to speak of yet as of 40K miles.

What have the recalls been?

Ford will deny warranty on the engine and transmission for computer mods and sometimes even air intake mods.  Even if you remove the mods, they can find out if you modified it (at least computer mods).  They have even gone so far to deny warranty because people have use filters other then Motorcraft brand.  Just be careful, it is well documented out there for warranty denial due to mods and with the cost of work on a 2008 F-250, I wouldn't touch anything with the engine, that is until the warranty runs out.
