Thinking of hitting the Gun Show at the Expo center tomorrow. Anyone go today? I haven't been in years. I think the last time I went to a Belton Gun Show, M1 Carbines could be had for a pair of C-Notes. Ah, those were the days.

| Not bad, $6.00 fee to get in for all day. There were alot of Pistols to be had throughout the show, rifles and carbines were a bit scarce. Prices seemed about average for the area. Some vendors seemed to want to much documentation for purchases. My buddy wanted to buy a Pistol and had his orders from Fort Hood, TX and all the necessary ID's and the guy still wanted a utility bill. Thats bunco in my mind, Active Duty Solldiers ONLY need orders and an ID in TX. Anyways, plenty of new ammo to be had also. Not a bad show, would have liked to see more long guns and black rifles though. |

I considered it a waste of $6
Half the show was jerky, knives and jewelry. The isles were FAR to narrow, they squeezed it into a room that was too small. Most of what I saw was full retail stuff that you could get locally for the same or a little less. It was my hope that this would blossem somewhat with Austin gunshows being what they are. |

I was gonna do that show but I did a CHL class instead. |
| Well, I ended up going. It was a fairly small show––not the worst I've been to. There were lots of pistols and very few rifles/shotguns (which is what I was looking for). Pretty decent deals could be had on handguns. Saw a new delta elite for a very good price. Very tempting! I passed up a deal on a lefty remington 30-06 with glass and am kicking myself for it now. |
