| I just took my CHL class yesterday and am mailing the paperwork to DPS tomorrow. I'm very interested in taking some kind of defensive handgun course. I would prefer it to be within an hour of the DFW metroplex. I would greatly appreciate any info from folks who have taken classes in the area. Thanks in advance for any info. |

Tiger Valley is offering a 2-day level 2 pistol class on 3/13-3/14 at their facility outside of Waco. From Dallas it's right at 2 hours south.
Level 2 Pistol ETA: If you're a novice shooter, they are offering a Level 1 pistol class 2/20 & 2/21 as well. Level 1 Pistol |

So much so that I am sending my wife to the Level One class in Feb. I teach CHL and these are the 1st two classes I recommend to most of my students. If you pay attention you WILL BE a better shooter by the end of the weekend. Also...bring as many pre-loaded mags as possible...you shoot a lot....busting you fingers loading mags is no fun!
