Employer Address.

Do I put the address of the local customer office I work in or the HQ address of the company I actually get my check from (it's not in the great state of Texas).

Any help would be great, as I'm a bit confused as to what to put.

I guess this question affects me a few times on the form.

Basically, if I work as a contractor from one company (say in NY) used by another company (in NY) as an on-site person (in CO or TX depending on which job I'm talking about).

Thanks in advance guys and gals.

I used the location where I actually work. They do not contact them, only check that county for records if different from your own county.... I THINK.

If you are employed by one company and doing contract work through them for another company, I would put down the address of the company you are actually employed by. If the company that employs you has more than one office, then I would use the location of your employing company that you would actually go into when you weren't at a customer's location.

I would not put down the location of a client's office because that isn't who you actually work for.

Technically i work for Corporation "X" from out of state.  They do business as (dba) Company "1" with worldwide locations.
I used the dba name and address of the factory in Dallas that i work at.
