My wife and I werein Galveston today, we live about a three hour drive from there, so we don't get there very often. They were closed for inventory, as we got to the door a woman that worked there told us that 'col Bubbie" died last May and that his widow is running the place. We hated o hear that becuse Bubbie was fun to talk with. I hope that she can keep the place open.

| Col Bubbies basement sales area flooded during Hurricane Ike and he lost most of the inventory down there. Now where will I find an Italian Army mess kit? I always enjoyed shopping there, although in the dead of summer it sometime felt like you were descending into the depths of Hell-not much air down there! |
