I have a Google Alert set for TXSG.
The last two days when I have clicked on the article supplied by my google alert I have been opening attack sites. A pop up comes up saying that my computer is infected and I need to download their virus protection. The only way that I have been able to get out of it is to go to task manager and end task. If you re-open your browser it will start all over again. I manually cleared the history of my browser and it did not come back. I researched the sites with Symantec's web site and they are confirmed attack sites attempting to install a virus. A heads up to all. ........Mounger |
