I need an outlet. Anyone ever go to a divorce forum that was any good (like AR15.com)?
Otherwise, you guys are gonna have to listen to me bitch about buying spoons and shower curtains. |

They have lots of online support for divorced people on the forum. I used it when I went thru my DV back in 2002.

I wish.
Today she backed into somebody's car on our insurance policy. Both tires were fucked up yesterday on the passenger side. Sidewall was cracked on one, bubble on the other. She says she doesn't know how it happened, but it's pretty clear she ran over something and hit it hard. My daughter's pet fish is dead. Fuckin can't even feed a GD'd fish. It's her car in her name, but she's got to be out driving like a fucking idiot, smoking cigarrettes and talking on the cell phone, running into shit with my 2 kids in the car. She makes twice as much as I make, but she ran out of money yesterday. Oh and she calls bitching at me that the hot tub won't work. 2 more weeks until I move into a house and I busted my ass all day repainting and cleaning up POS second hand furniture so my kids will have a real home when they stay with me. Also about halfway finished repainting their swing and jungle gym. Fucking exhausted. Why do I give a shit about the GD hot tub. I just had to rewire the whole fucking house for her last fall to install the fucker. Shit I still owe $300 for my new mattress so I'll have a place to sleep. You bet your ass I went out and bought me a heat resistant silicone spatula AND spoonula. I know how to cook. I can't remember the last time she cooked for me. What the hell does she need a $12 Williams Sonoma silicon spatula for? Warming up microwave chicken nuggets for the kids? On the bright side, I don't need a shower curtain anymore. The new house has a shower stall with a glass enclosure and a seperate bath tub. PLUS his & hers walkin closets. The Hers closet is going to become my gun room/ crisis center. I'll finally be able to set all my reloading shit out and leave it set up without having to hear her bitch about it. O |

I am currently buying my 3rd house. My first 2 stayed with the ex's. I hope the fucking houses were built on super fund sites. Both times I was within about 3 years of having the houses paid off. This house I just bought is on a 30 year loan @5% interest. My goal in life is to pay off at least one house that is mine before I die.
ex-1 could not cook unless you liked crunchy lasagna noodles. ex-2 would not and could not cook unless you liked mac and cheese. GF soon to be #3 wife can't cook but she is trying. Mac and cheese looked like a coal deposit in the bottom of the pan. I told her to soak it in water for a week rather then throwing the pan as I felt it was cheaper then buying a new pan. |
| Learned this : Your lawyer is a liar ! He lies ! Hers is likewise and wants to steal from you....if kinfolk is the judge, then guess the outcome..connecting the dots... or if the judge is on the take... He will kiss butt of the donor... If you are a mafia member, make that real clear first off... A mafioso is the only man I ever knew that saw the legal system treat him w. respect.... Otherwise the ego maniacs will go to a local bar and brag about how much you lost... your and her attny... they like to laugh about their circus.... |

Hey Joe, I might have a few things for the kitchen you can have. I have a knife set and some glasses that we don't use. Might even be able to get you some plates and some silverware. Lemme know and the next time I am down your way, we can meet up or I can drop them off at your church. If there is anything else you might be in need of, let me know. I am sure I can scrounge some stuff up for you that we aren't using. |

Thanks Compass.
I got some good news that the folks will be moving out sooner than we expected, so I'll start moving Saturday, but just to basically shampoo the carpets, get my mattress from the furniture store before the end of the month, moving utilities, etc. I bought a few more items last night at Target that I found cheap, $6 toaster, $6 mixer, $6 glass mixing bowl. Got a vacuum cleaner last week. I saw a silverware set for $10 at Target last night, but I could use a few extra settings if you have some odd pieces. I could use some knives too. As far as dishes, we had two sets at the house and my wife gave me one of them, I just need to go through the boxes and see what I actually got. She gave me a set of glasses too, I just haven't gone through it yet. Do you have a 1911? I may have some 1911 parts I could offer in trade. Once I get moved (and before I go file with my lawyer) I need to make another visit to the house. I have a bunch of cake pans and cake decorating stuff, I'm going to take part of that. Actually, I should take it all, she never made any cake. (she can't follow directions/recipes, I think that's her biggest problem) I have a bunch of special spices I need to round up too. My mom bought me some new pans, assorted utensils, etc. Still gotta go buy a big non-stick skillet, Ross has the best prices on those, I just need to pick which one I want. I cook 90% of my meals in those. I had all the little cooking gadgets, and the good stuff too, not the crap. (think Crate and Barrel, Williams Sonoma, KitchenAid, Bed Bath Beyond) That's what's so frustrating. It's like buying an AR, putting all the best stuff on it, then having it stolen and not having the money to buy a new one and fix it up like the old one. If I can gather up a few basics, I'm sure I can bring my kitchen into line. I'm close right now. I need to hit Walmart next week and see what kind of kitchen stuff they have. |

I wish I had seen this thread sooner as I was down your way this past weekend. I won't be back down there for another couple weeks. I do have a knife set and some silverware I can give you. Do you need any utensils? I have a few I can part with. My guy has a 1911. I don't know if he needs any spare parts, but I will ask him and get back to you on that. |

Llke she said... we moved in together and we have some duplicates of stuff. We had at one time a large box of misc tupperwave I dont know if she threw it away or not. |
