Hey guys, so it looks like I'm moving back to FL in about 2 weeks and am wondering about how to get my guns there. I'm flying and having a mover take all of my stuff, I do not think the movers are allowed to take them for me, and I wouldn't want them to even if they could. What shops have the cheapest transfers in the DFW area? Am I going to have to pay both shops (one in TX and one in FL) to do the transfers for me? Sounds like a hassle for my 6 guns and a lower.

You can ship a gun to yourself. No need to go thru a ffl.

Oh really? I thought you had to do all shipments through FFL's now....I guess that would work if I just ship it out ground the day before I leave, I'll be in FL to sign for it.

You can ship in or out of state to yourself or a gunsmith.
