We havd been blessed with a litter of Choc pups and are having the time of our lives. they are 4 weeks old, on solid food with an occasional nurse from mom. I own both parents and would love to talk top anyone who wants to talk about lab pups. Obviously this hometown thread does not allow for sale or trade posts so I won't offer them for sale or trade. ...but feel free to e=mail to discuss the wonders of Chocolate Lab puppies. We have both parents on premises and would love to let anyone come visit and play with them...althought this thread does not allow me to solicit the sale or trade of them.

8-10 weeks is much better for them and the new owners.
In those last weeks they learn lots of social skills they will need later

Congrats on the litter! Do you show, hunt or compete with your Labs?

Must be the season because we have a new litter of Australian Shepherd pups on the ground as of Monday (photos posted in the Pet Forum)

we don't intend to let them go till 8 - 10 weeks...just an introduction. We don't hunt them or show them.,...just love them to death. We own mom and pop and it is not our first herd.

Pics perhaps when we borrow a cam as our is caputs...

Not free but reasonable and only to good homes of course.

on a more serious note, I would desperately like to trade for a yellow(white) female. I am going to fix "Nestle'"(father is "Hershey") as she has done her service and I will not ask her do to more.

A yellow pup with good lines would be a serious consideration.

The bad part of Chocolate labs puppies is that they grow up to be completely no good.  Well, they do clean up spills on the kitchen floor pretty good.

Dogs are comfortable with their family whatever the size of the house. The key is that all dogs need daily exercise and so many owners think that just putting them in a yard is enough and that isn't the case. You can have a large dog in a small apartment if you can find the time to train and exercise it every day. An adult over the age of two would be better than a puppy.

this, i have a 70 pound 11 week old german shepard / belgian malinois puppy and shes a wonderful companion and pet and im worked to the max right now but i still find time to take her to the dog park and take her on jogs and take her everywhere i go when im not at work. She does get locked up in the house all day every once in a while when i get stuck super late at work, but for the most part she stays happy.
