Well I stopped in Ft Worth  Cabelas today since I was in the neighborhood. Didn't really need anything but if they had any primers I'd piick up some small pistols. I hadn't really

been looking anywhere for ammo or supplies for a while. Not a single sleeve of any size primer in the store. So I think I'll browse the ammo aisle just for shits and giggles to see

exactly how much my reloading hobby was saving me. Well I really couldn't say how much I was saving because the shelves were damn near empty. No, 9mm, some 20 rnd .

.40, .45? Didn't see any. Saw about 40 boxes of Win 5.56 Q3131A1 for $10.99. I knew things were bad out there, from readng and talking to my buddies but hell, I feel sorry for

true shooting enthusiest who can't either find what he needs,or when he does can't afford to . Oh yeah they even had a 3 box limit on 9mm. There wasn't any to limit.  Their

overpriced gun counter was packed. Shees when is it going to get back to normal.

I think this is the new normal.
Maybe for the next four years.
Maybe four years from now there won't be a gun/ammo counter.

This is the new normal.

I hate seeing the US get sick but the immune system should kick in in 2 - 4 years.

PS, I got 8 boxes of the monarch 9mm from academy tonight for 71.85 OTD McKinney Texas.

I should have bought the whole case, but there were others like me who wanted 8 boxes.

Thanks for the heads up. I was planning on heading over Sun and getting some 308 brass and maybe find some SP primers. Guess I'll save the gas now.

They'll price match the bigger gun dealers in DFW.  I.e., Bachman's, Academy, Bass Pro to name a few.
