If someone has some sales experience, especially in-home sales, I can get you an interview for a good job in the DFW area. It's a small salary for six weeks and then it's 100% commission. You will be a Home Depot associate covered by medical, dental, etc. You're assigned a store(s) and run leads outta the store in your area. You do not work at the store and you don't punch a time clock. If you sit on your ass all day and just run store leads, you'll make about $40k if you can close. If you work an honest forty hour week and can close, you'll make $80-100k.
IM me if want to. |
If you put a Marine Lance Corporal in a small padded room with a 12 pound steel ball, in 15 minutes, the ball will be broken in half, one half will be missing and the other half will be impregnated.

Under Law Enforcement Jobs add TML, texas municipal league. Lots of the smaller cities use that and are members. I think its all city jobs, not just LEO.
http://tml.associationcareernetwork.com/Common/HomePage.aspx And I think there are some issues with the links in the LE section, board code sneaking in there. –––––––––––––––––––––––– Under Eduational, add TASA, Texas Assoc. of School Administrators: http://www.tasanet.org/career/content.cfm?ItemNumber=639 Both of those are Texas specific of course, I'll let you categorize as you like, but they are both great sites. I used the education one to get 2 jobs, and my wife got her LEO jobs through the other. |

Just some FYI for anyone interested, the City of Dallas Equipment and Building Services Division is hiring Mechanics at this time.
The listing shows they are hiring for: Certified Technicians, Senior Mechanics and Mechanic II E's. These are full time jobs, and come with a benefits package. The only drawback-chances are, any new hires would be placed on evening or third shift, as the City is gearing up to have nearly all of their service centers going to a 24/7, 365 day a year operation, so, new hires will more than likely have to work one day on the weekend as well. There is a shift differential pay (2 per cent) for those that have to work evenings and deep nights, though. The starting pay for a mechanic runs about 17.00 as of right now. The jobs close around 1/4 to 1/8 of 2010, so if you or anyone you know is looking for a job in the automotive/fleet field, go to dallascityhall.com and click on the left hand side of the screen, where it asks "What are you looking for?" A JOB. The application is kind of lengthy, so you might allow yourself some ample time to get it done. There are other jobs on the City's website as well, you'll just have to browse through what they have to offer. We have about 5 locations that are going to need multiple people at this time, and ASE certification is required on some positions. Mechanics would be working on equipment ranging from squad cars to 12 yard dump trucks, compressors, backhoes. depending on there experience. Anyway, again, just some FYI, hope it helps someone out. Thanks, 95707 |

The Great Wolf Lodge will be hiring one new person for it's in house security team. The pay is above average (IM me for details), has a full benefits package after 90 days, and in general is a pretty good environment to work in. The position most likely will be deep nights (10pm-6am), or 2nd shift (2pm-10pm). This a Level II position, so unarmed, but you do not need to have the certification at time of hire.
The GWL will also be hiring someone in it's human resource department, probably a junior position. |
