OK, this may be a dumb question, but, If you have a threaded bull barrel, will a flash hider for a regular barrel fit on it, or is the bull barrel threads going to be bigger?

depends.

to be threaded a barrel is first turned down and then the threads are cut.
so a standard barrel will be cut to 1/2" outside diameter and then the threads are cut to 28 turns per inch.
the OD and TPI can be whatever you want.

Just wondering. I am ordering my upper this week and want to get the same muzzle break for it that I have on my regular barrel.

It should, at least in most cases. The majority of muzzle additions screw onto the threads and protrude forward from the shoulder immediately behind the threads. Most muzzle devices do not slide back over the barrel. Look inside the muzzle device yu have and see if the threaded area is right inside the rear of the device; there may be a small relief cut area but you should be able to see and feel the threads. If the threads are about an inch or teo inside the device, it may be a reflex mount setup. If so, measure the inside diameter of the device and compare it to the outside diameter of your barrel immediately behind your threads.
