As there are 800,000 police officers in the US, there are bound to be a few bad apples.

Yeah, and the news was also filled with corrupt governor empeachment stories, mideast war stories, plane crash stories, bad economy stories. By your choice, I can see that you are only trying to fit in here.

You'll find your lame attempts at initiating a good cop bashing thread will find a higher level of participation in the GD forum. Of course, if your link is over 5 minutes old, you can count on one of the other usual suspects beating you to the punch.

I'm sure if you hang around the site long enough, you'll get the hang of it.

And BTW...How about we wait until those "Disgraced Police Officers" are actually convicted of a crime before we string them up? The court of sensationalist media and ARFCOM knuckle draggers doesn't count. Of your 4 links, I only see one officer who has been charged with anything.

I thought posters here appreciated police stories in the NEWS. We can discuss the victims, the cops, or the media but you assume someone's cop bashing. Definitely some of these stories when posted in a forum starts cop bashing but I thought it might elicit a different response here. You've made one point of there being only one officer who has been charged with anything. Thanks for that. No thanks for your lame advice.

Just remember, as Pato constantly reminds us... "not guilty" is NOT "innocent".

Just sayin

Wait, you mean OJ might have actually did it????...

I couldn't agree more. If the cops in the links are guilty, let'em swing. Hell, I'll pull the handle myself. I'd just like to see them get their day in court. Or at very least, we get to see, or hear, the OTHER side of the story before we schedule the excecution.
It doesn't seem too much to ask.
