I just got off the reloading section here after reading about Remington 6 1/2 primers being harmful to an AR.
I remembered buying some from Gander. I asked for primers for loading 223 in an AR. The first guy asked the second guy, who handed me the 6 1/2s and said that's what you need. I looked around my house and found them; the only primers that I have a receipt for. I will be placing a call tomorrow morning to the manager. I'm sure I'm out $60 but if I hadn't read that thread I would have used them, much to the detriment of my Bushys. Whenever shopping for supplies-know your vendors! |
