Hi all,
I saw this in another forum that's not too active and thought it might be nice to move it where many more can see and hopefully act... This link is to a petition that's directed to the Texas Legislation to Insure 2nd Amendment Rights. The are asking that legislation be passed that will nullify any firearm registration programs, similiar to Florida Statute 790.335 (That's right, Florida already did it). I noticed that some folks in the other forum were afraid to sign admitting they have firearms. This was noted and this part of the form is optional. I have a Texas CHL, so I'm guessing if someone was to start looking for firearms, I would be a pretty likely candidate... I wouldn't ask anyone to do anything I wouldn't. I have signed the petition and am among the 9100 signatures. http://www.petitiononline.com/TXRKBA/ This is not intended to create partisan gaps, but to protect our rights under the 2nd Amendment (at least in Texas), no mater what your political affiliation.
