Hey Brandon...if you head to Magnum, give me a shout I live all of about 2.5 minutes away from the range.

I'll be off for the next 5 days.

I've been only once about two years ago.  They allow FMJ.  Don't know about a skeet range.  No restrictions on rapid fire that I know of.  The owner seemed to be kind of squirrely and paranoid and made no apparent effort to hide the beer he was drinking... nor his Daisy Duke-like cut-off jean shorts.    I seem to recall him claiming to be something like 78yoa and still working for the Denton Co SO (I took that with a grain of salt...).  Although he was an odd cat, he didn't seem like an asshole or anything.  He wasn't even going to charge me a rental fee on a spotting scope, but I pretty much insisted.  Maybe it's because I tend to carry myself well in gun range environments, but he pretty much had a make-yourself-at-home attitude.  I was also the only customer there at the time.

Guess he keeps pretty odd hours.  I called ahead of time to ensure they were open, but when I got there, I noticed the hours on the sign didn't jive.  I recommend calling ahead of time if you go.

The place is pretty ricketty.  A fancy-schmancy gun club it's not.  I had to help the owner repair a wood cross beam that supports the target pully wire things over the pistol range just so I could shoot.  Place isn't exactly the epitome of cleanliness and organization.  I had to step over a tire that was sitting in the middle of the office floor so I could get to the pistol range.  The pistol range firing line area itself was cluttered with miscellaneous junk.

The rifle range has a covered shooting area, but the floor was pretty bad when I went, and the chairs were trash.  Pallets are used for target stands.  No range nazis.  Serve yourself.  I think the range goes up to either 150 or 200yds.

Here's a few pics I snapped while I was there.
