Too late.. it started this past weekend. Fort Worth gunshow had receiver prices running 25%+ above retail for stripped AR lowers at some dealers. And I bet they still sold. I bet the Conroe show is going to be nuts this weekend. Hopefully prices will stabilize a bit in the next few weeks. Don't gouge us, Jen! |

I don't think prices will stablilize for a couple years if they do at all. |

Looks like Spikes jacked their lowers from 110 to 180 overnight. Wow. These were $100 during the last group buy. http://www.spikestactical.com/z/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=40_47&products_id=51 R. |

B&S guns is trying to sell 1000 rounds of wolf .223 for $399.00 plus tax. Ammo Depot has the same for $290.00 I have never liked B&S... I have always been treated badly when I went in there. I am not the typical Redneck though... I have a military style haircut, earings, and tattoos... I have overheard one of the guys there telling people that whatever gun they were looking at was his favorite!... like on 6 or 7 different ones... What? you mean your favorite one today? |

Hahahaha...
Got to love CTD. They even show list price...3 bucks and change lower than the sales price!! lol!!!!!!!!! ....and I thought they were expensive BEFORE today! Quoted:

Quoted: I also forsee alot of gouging at the next Mesquite Gun Show... I think I may go just for entertainment factor. It seems to me though there are two kinds of dealers. Those that did not raise prices and are sold out with no ETA of when stuff would be re-stocked, and those that raised prices and have stuff but at much higher price an 2 weeks ago. |
|
It seems to me that dealers that have alot of return customers would not do this... Its like spitting in their face... after all, those return customers that sent you other return customers helped make you successful... Maybe I am just too honest and would feel guilty for doind that...
I talked with Mickey on the phone for a few minutes earlier and he said that Dallas Reloads wanted to raise his purchase price to $500 for 1000 rds of 55gr FMJ... So he dropped him and ordered 20,000 rds of the Wolf 55gr, and he said he refuses to raise his prices... |

Yeah, millions of gun owners just got a wake-up call and want to buy things, so demand probably just doubled. But the price should stay the same. Yeah, that's a good plan.
Things will be rationed by price or by shortage. Take your pick. Good observation. Except demand has not doubled, it's 50X. |
| I went to noonday gun trader yesterday just south of Tyler, I could have 5 223 30 round, 1 6.8 15 round and 1 ar10 20 round, but the prices were not raised, paid marked price. Rodney is ok in my book, but I spent alot of money there in the past.dont know if he will break out the mags. for anyone. |

Except demand has not doubled, it's 50X. yesterday I had 3 different people, who had joked with me in recent months about my "stash" and/or my "panic room" or "why do you have all this" call up and frantically ask for advice on what kind of ar15 they needed to buy. and they were buying immediately if not sooner. one buddy was on his way to the store, cash in pocket. (he left with a bushy) had another buddy who owns many black rifles come in the office laughing, saying he'd gotten a call from a buddy of his at a gunshop who was laughing, saying the ak47 was in high demand but there werent any left in this town! I guess I can look at it like this: another black rifle owner to join the ranks. |
