I live in West, and am a member at Chandler's gun club. I get out there about 1-2 x a month. I bought my 6520 and wanted to refresh my knowledge on the ar platform. I googled ar-15 and found this site. I bought my Colt in Nov. of 07. and have about 1000 rounds thru it. I shoot mostly 50 yds and hit "mom"(moment of man.) Which I'm happy with. I've tried 100 yds and shoot about 4" groups, need to tighten up a bit.

I'm going to ruin your life by taking you out to Tiger Valley. You will immediately be hooked. You will sign up for classes, you will shoot high speed low drag matches. You will wind up spending your life savings on more ammo, more guns and better equipment. You will cease to have a life outside of work and range time ;)
Drop me a PM and we'll hook up. I usually go out to Chandlers on Sundays to avoid the Fudd crowd. Normally, I have the range to myself. Edit to add: We are having a Palma style match at Tiger Valley this weekend. Shooting at 800, 900 and 1K yards. You can come out and watch if you are so inclined. You'll get to meet a bunch of great people. We get to use the rest of the facilities after the match, so most bring a carbine and handgun. Check it out at Tiger Valley |
