Hi guys, I'm new to the Dallas area actually living in Irving. I'm planning on going and checking out the cheaper than dirt store over in fort worth and then going up to cabelas this weekend. I was wondering if there were any good places to go around that have a selection of AR accesories around here or not. Even if there are just some nice gun stores around I wouldn't mind stopping by. Thanks for you help guys |

| Welcome to a great metropolitan area, There is so damn much to do here you can have a lot of fun doing it. I don't know to many gun shops. I go to Cabalas a lot, they have a good selection of firearms new and used. Be sure to check out there fine gun room, they have all sorts of hind end firearms in there, but they are VERY high priced. If you go to Bass Pro, they have an indoor gun range, I think it's 7 pistol bays and one rifle room, it's in the basement and is a 100 yard tube underground, it's pretty cool. What part of Irving are you in, I used to live there. It has changed a LOT over the years. You also have an outdoor range not to far from you, Elm Fork range. A lot of people complain about it, but I've never had a problem with it. Hell one of the range nazis helped me sweep up my brass, I tell em I reload and will be taking my brass with me, when there is a cease fire they will tell you sweep up all you want. |

When you say next weekend are you meaning November 1st and 2nd? Cause if so that sucks as I wont be down here that weekend. If it was this weekend that would be good. |
So is the cheaper than dirt store in fort worth an actual retail front for them?? Or is it just a store that pretty much sells a lot of the cheaper than dirt merchandise? If it isn't a retail front do they have similar prices to the catologue and online? |
