Visiting from Washington > Texas

Hey all,

I'm from Washington, visiting family in New Braunfels for part of my post-deployment leave. I'll be around till the 15th. Is there anything neat we should try to do, or places to visit or eat or whatever, while I'm in the area?

Also, we're going down to Corpus Christi the weekend of the 12th.

Greune Hall is a must see. Also you should go float the river. Natural Bridge Caverns are pretty cool. Go eat at Rudys BBQ in New Braunfels as well. It is GOOD. -Art

If you like catfish go to Clear Springs. Good onion rings also.

Cool 'nuff. We might also go to Sea World, since I guess my parents have season passes. And we'll probably check out some of the non-Alamo missions in the area.

Eat food without sand in it
Dont worry about IEDs too much
Eat non MRE meals

Know that even people you dont know appreceate what you are doing for our Country
I am assuming you where overseas BTW
I am Ex-Navy

Short quick list
Nephew is in A-stan
Things he didnt miss when he got home for Sisters wedding

Yeah, I got back from Iraq about a month ago, and now I'm on post-deployment block leave. 30 days of doing nothing important

AND ... I finally get to see my CMP Garands that I bought while I was gone!
