A number of years ago (probably 12-15) there was a drive-thru exotic wildlife park in Ponta, TX (Just North of Rusk, TX in Chorokee Co.) that I went to several times. Well they shut down quite a few years back. I knew the property (300 acres) had sold but I didn't know what ever happened to it. Well it was opened back up and is again an exotic wildlife park and is in WAY better condition than it was before. We had a very good day today. CHEROKEE TRACE SAFARI By the way, the old park was called Herrings and Mr. Herring apparently owns and operates another exotic wildlife park somewhere around DFW.
