Ok, I'm sitting out side a liquor store waiting for some gang bangers to leave so I can go do what I gotta do. As I'm sitting here a guy walks by my truck nice a brutal looking, and he has a knife in a knife holster? Sheath? on his right side. Easy to see. It's a 5-6 inch blade typical Davey Crocket hunting knife I guess would be the best description. Anyway, he's wearing his hoodie, and benie spandex head thing looks like panty hose, don't know the name of them and before going inside, he covers his knife. It still sticks out about 2" below his sweatshirt hoodie. Ok, I just went inside, and I started BSing with him. A nice guy but an absolute lune. Says he is just back from Gan (Afganistan) and is a Delta operator on leave headed back in a week or so. Has some riding boots on like (English horseback riding boots). He has a pig farm just down the road and "uses the knife for when they get out of hand". Don't know where down the road is, were at 75 & Walnut Hill? So curiosity has the best of me. Can you open carry/conceal carry a large hunting knife? I don't really care, in fact I kinda like it. Wish it was ok to open carry a gun. I figure its a single edge blade based on the sheath its in. |
A blade over 5.5" or double edged is illegal. Open or concealed does not matter.
