They rec'd my application on December 14th and last week I discovered they kicked back my FBI fingerprint cards. Anyways, I got them electronically done this time and mailed it off.

I'm tired of waiting.

That stinks. If it makes you feel any better I'm still waiting on my security clearance and probably will for the foreseeable future.

Same thing happened with my 1st CHL application back in November of 2001.  I think the DPS was swamped with applicants and used my "smudged" ink-prints as an excuse.  When I resubmitted digital scans of them in March 2002, they were accepted, but I waited a long time for my CHL, four months into 2002.

Nah, they don't care.  The prints are entered at DPS using a computer, and it rejects a much larger number than when they were hand classified.
