| Does anyone around here own, work for or simply knows a good landscaping/tree services company in DFW area? I need to have one of the trees taken down on my back yard and would like to get a quote since I have no idea how much it could cost. Even a ball park estimate would probably do, for now. Thanks in advance. |
In Plano. Below are some pictures of the tree. The fence on the right (3.5" planks) is trash and will be replaced in the next few weeks, so it can easily come down for easier access. The fence on the left (6" planks) is a community fence (which probably means I can't touch it) with a major street right behind it (Spring Creek).

Thanks. Would you happen to have their phone number? So they didn't completely pull the stump/roots, just ground them flush with the ground level? I'm just not sure how it's usually done; on one hand, I'd like to have the stump and roots pulled completely so that there is nothing left, on the other - I'm afraid that they'll pull my sprinklers out along with the roots. Also, did the price include disposal, or did they leave it all for the city to pick up? |
Try Prichard Tree Care 817-284-8307. They work out of Richland Hills. My moms boyfriend and his father own the company. I have worked with them a few times and they do good work. As far as the stump goes you can have it ground down but that usually costs extra. The roots die afterwards so no need to worry about them. It does leave saw dust around for a while though. They use a wood chipper and chip all the limbs and logs into a truck and haul off. If you decide to give them a call tell them Clayton refered you. You might get a price break, I don't know. |
They ground the stumps 4" below the surface, just a pile of shavings was there, you would never know a tree had been there, unless you wanted to dig a hole. they hauled everything away, and didnt miss a twig. there phone is 817-896-8012 internet site is andertontree.com |
