I am in DFW, since ,74. I was born in Daisetta, grew up in Nederland. My aunt and uncle owned Pelts Ranch, if you are old enough to remember the trailrides out there. Where are you now?

My uncle was Brady Pelt, they were by Sourlake and hosted the campouts in the 60's.They are both long gone now.

Some people named Pelt in Sourlake have a ranch there now. His Name is Ken and he is a local politician (county commish) I think. He is real good people. I bet they are related. Jim

Your probably right, i did not know his side well.Lots of people are related in the pinewoods.My dads side were one of the founding families of Saratoga. My grandad was a carpenter and the town blacksmith.[ 30's]We got to east Texas in 1832.
