Who makes the best hard-cast bullet? Prefer a Texas company that sells at the shows to save shipping. Have a phone number for them? Or know the DFW shows they attend? With ammo prices going up I'm doing more reloading now.

Check oot precision bullets in Kemp Tx. they swedge theirs and cote them with something a lot better than the average bullet lube I shoot them in 45acp. cost is about the same as cast and shipping is figured in the price. accuracy is as good if not better than cast.

David's website is:

I use Bulletworks.  Jimmy and Artie make some excellent bullets, and they are great folks who have done a lot to promote competitive shooting

Not sure why I've never heard of them. The article on their web site is from 2002-- if  they've been around for 5 years or longer seems like I would have. A cast, coated 45 caliber bullet running at 2000 FPS with no leading and top-notch accuracy seems almost too good to be true.
