| Anyone know of somewhere/one in the DFW area? |
|
ETA: What caliber are you looking for? ETA2: Actually just got off the phone with Jim, and he does not stock them, but again will order if you wish. |
Jim stocks SWR & AAC mostly. Schramm stocks GemTech. Both will be at Market Hall this weekend. I have a YHM can and will be at Market Hall too if you want to see it before ordering. I recommend ordering through rcsguns. I bought 5 YHM cans and xfered them through rcsguns this past summer for a group buy. |
Dude, I'm seriously asking a question. Just reading through the form 4, it has a place for the transferor's signature, right? Well, why couldn't you just send the form 4 to YHM for their signature and then have them mail it back to you before you send it to the ATF? I mean, do you really have to go through a dealer? |
Well, you'd have to go their office (or a gun show) to fill out the 4473.

oh yeah. crap. |
Most manufacturers want you to buy through their dealer distributors. You may be able to buy directly from YHM, but you still have to transfer the suppressor through a dealer in Texas (first via Form 3 to an FFL/SOT, and via Form 4 to you, unless you have an FFL yourself, then you transfer directly from out of state to you via a Form 4). |
2 - 2 1/2 hours East of DFW - Longview Class III Arms [email protected] He called me today and said he was placing a big order from them. Great guy, reasonable prices (better than if you order direct from YHM). I have made numerous purchases including YHM products from him. Great customer service. |
You do not want to buy direct with the MFG...Stocking dealer it the ONLY way to go IMHO. Waiting 6-7 months for a can sucks! |
