What will I need to do to my handguards to make them work with the Armalite FF tube?

In case my friend doesn't have the right block I might need help with the install- I don't even have a barrel wrench yet.

The only thing you may possibly have to do is remove the metal heat shields lining the inside of the A2 handguards.  I had to remove mine, but only because I have the lead weight inside the bottom handguard.

Will the handguards fit on the tube without it being installed? If so I can see where any problems would be before I start.
