Microtech Halo III > Texas

I'm looking for a Texas dealer carrying Microtech Halo III. I thought about ordering from TAD GEAR but I'm under the impression they would have issue shipping to Texas.

Yup.

I've heard nothing but good things about them and my buddy with Charlotte SWAT has one. He says its a very well built knife so thought I'd get one.

Yep. The knives I have I've gotten free from CDNN. They came free with orders I have placed in the past. I do have a Gerber that I bought though.

But that knife does look well built.

I'm not going to change anyone's mind if their heart is set on an OTF Microtech, but if you're looking for a better built knife, that is legal to carry, then you may want to consider a Kershaw Spec Bump. It's designed by Ken Onion, uses S30V steel, has G10 scales that are grippy as all get out, features SpeedSafe assisted opening and has a cool looking and very useful recurve shape to the blade:

'Course, it's not fair to compare a knife like this to a relatively fragile out-the-front automatic, but I thought I'd share my favorite knife with everyone else... If I were to get an OTF knife, it would be a Microtech Scarab, however...
