Had a chance this Saturday to visit there with a member. Very nice place. We did sporting clays and it was a great time! It's obviously geared toward the shotgunner. The pistol/rifle range was in the back 40 and only had 100 yard lanes Very pricy to get a membership, but a very nice facility! |

Is this the place off of Luna in Dallas? If so, the shotgun park was bought by a seperate group (Elm Fork) and have done much to advance youth shooting sports and trap/skeet in the DFW. I moderate a HS skeet/trap group for my studnets there. The rifle/pistol range on the back side is run by some different folks. Good IDPA shooting on Wed. But paying 15$ for 50 9mm rounds is a bit much. As is the general "attitude" towards BR's. They say they are BR freindly, but no FMJ, and they tend to look at you funny if you rock anything other than a bolt action or deer rifle... Just my opinion. YMMV |

www.dallasgunclub.com/ www.dallasgunclub.com/html/documents/APPLICATIONFORMEMBERSHIP.pdf $3000 initiation fee (You read that right - Three Thousand!)... $100 application fee... $85 monthly dues... All plus tax, mind you. I don't think so, Tim. |

Dallas Action Pistol Shooters are now running a USPSA match at Elm Fork on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. I'd love to go, but 6pm is way too early for me. Initial announcement June 21 match report |
Dayyyyaaammmm.... Probably for rich folks, heh? |
Yes, it is for us rich folks. You should have been a doctor or something. lol, sucks that its about .8 miles from my house and I have to drive 30 mins to shoot my shotgun. It would be nice to be able to afford a membership. |
All the members I know are big firm lawyers. |
