I`m in the dfw area ,where is the best and or cheapest place to hunt these critters?

You will have to come up to the panhandle region for that. There are tons of them around Amarillo and Muleshoe, places like that.

Prairie dog hunting is a blast, for sure!  Went last year in August over to a spot in NM.   Only had a .17HMR, and though the guide said it was a slow couple days.   I probably killed over 130 of them.  Definitely fun.

Somewhere in the southeast corner of NM... can't remember the name of the town.. but you could go less than a mile or two and be in Texas.  Loving, maybe?  My memory just sucks balls.

I do remember the guide we hired was a regular over at texaspredatorposse.com, I think that was the site.  Very good guy, I think we paid $100/day each.  Had a blast... I'd do it again!
