I have the two way satilite internet Wild Blue and when surfing the AR15 site when I click on a topic it goes to a blank page with network error (tcp-error) on it. This is the only web site that I go to that does this. Does any one elso have this problem or is it my system? Thanks! Dennis |

I have had problems with this site when I went through a caching proxy, or proxies in general. If your ISP is caching and that is causing the problem, likely not much you can do. With sattelite, you have *extremely* long latency times.... because your IP packet has to go a LONG way to get to it's destination, typically 400 to 800ms, which is 10 times that of most high speed internet solutions like cable/DSL. See www.wildblue.com/aboutWildblue/qaa.jsp#5_5 I recommend you adjust your TCP receive window, RWIN, MTU values, set up specifically for sattelite optimization. If this sounds like a lot of techie goop - try this site: www.dslreports.com/faq/satellite Use DrTCP to tweak: www.dslreports.com/faq/2014 Go to your Wildblue support website and see if they have any tweaking recommendations.
