Two months ago, a bullet struck a vehicle at a nearby business. It was never proven that it came from the firing range. Nevertheless, police took another look at the property and an architect decided the facility did not meet safety standards. For now officers will have to train in the indoor range. Early estimates show it could take about $4 million to correct the problem.
