Anyone go to this show today? Is it worth going to or should I just wait for Big Town in 2 weeks?

Was definitely a buyers show.

Crowd was pretty lax between 12 and 3. Sellers were hungry to make bargains.

Couldn't get a vendor to deal on the Devine M1a he had.

My buddy just called me as he was leaving the show. He said it wasn't as big as the Big Town show but that it was "OK" overall. He says the Big Town show is still better and would recommend that one over the Denton show.

Military Gun Supply $87/500 rds (HP and FMJ)

Cheaper then Dirt $79/500 rds (HP and FMJ) incidently CTD said they would have SPs by 4/17/06 I've not checked back with them though..

Sporstmans guide $67/500 rds (HP-FMJ-SP) (Their catalog shows $54 but is incorrect)

I saw one guy selling it for $3.75 a box with a limit of 10 boxes.

There will be an other show there in June but it will be at an old Home Depot at HWY 377 and 35.

I thought it was ok. It was the first show I had been to in a year. I always had to work sunday at the gunshop. I found some grips for my CZ, so I was happy.

The show was a let down to me. I was looking to pick up a cz52 and the 4 that I saw were more than double the price they should have been.

I had one guy tell me that no one would sell them for what they are worth after paying for a table. He wanted $220 for his.

I ran into ex-Cowboy Randy White there Sunday morning. He was talking to one of the knife dealers and showing him his well used Emerson folder. Seemed like a pretty cool dude. I had met him back during his playing days and he has lost a bunch of weight since then. Still is one big man though.

Sportmensguide has it for 137.00 their door to yours per 1000. They won't ship until 29 may.. That's a fact, their cat is way off.............................

thats where i picked mine up, at mgs. when i went to dirt they were out. now im looking into either a non yugo sks, or a mosin nagant
